Natural Bug Lawn Spray

One way to help our pets is to not use chemicals. One reason why people use chemicals is to help control pests like mosquitoes.
A friend told me of a method to help control pests using a natural garlic water spray method.
The garlic oil doesn't just help repel mosquitoes, but fleas, ticks and other unwanted pests.
Essentially, you can either buy garlic oil concentrates in many lawn and garden stores of you can make it yourself. It's really simple to make.
To make your own garlic oil spray, simply crush a handful of garlic cloves and soak them in 4 liters (1 gallon) of water for 24 hours. Next, remove the garlic pieces and then strain any remaining garlic from the water. If there are pieces left in the water, then obviously those pieces will clog your sprayer. Use your new garlic oil water and spray your property.
Do not spray flowering plant because the smell will deter bees from going to them.
You may notice a strong garlic smell for a few days but then it will begin to go away. While you will no longer be able to smell the garlic, the pests can. This natural spray will be effective for approximately 2 to 4 weeks. So I would suggest spraying again every 3 weeks.
