A Quick Introduction To Natural Homemade Pet Food

The object in creating optimal health and nutrition is to study each animal's habitat and food sources, then custom make diets that most closely resemble their own natural (original) diet.

My preference for vegetables is organic.
My preference for meat is free range or organic.
My preference is purified, glacial, spring or well water.
...but if you cannot get this, do not worry as it is not the end of the world. Use what you have and you will be fine.
Too many people make a whale of an excuse about not having pure
or the highest
quality ingredients. This in turn becomes an excuse for doing nothing.
Excuses are simply no excuse.
Use what you have. Use what is available to you. Use what you can afford. There is no shame in this. Just focus on feeding raw, wholesome, homemade pet food even if that means you have to feed frozen vegetables as compared to fresh organic vegetables. Frozen vegetables, as an example, are still leaps and bounds better than commercial pet food.
You know, I fed my cat meat from Safeway for over 1 year as I was not able to locate a source of free range meats and he still did wonderful! Jumbo, the sick dog that participated in my sick dog project, also did not receive organic or free range meats and he still experienced healing. So spend less time worrying about the imperfection and more time doing what needs to be done — that is the only lecture and sermon you will receive today on this topic I promise!
... and remember, when preparing your homemade dog food or homemade cat food, double or triple the amount I use if you have many animals or big mouths to feed. If you have small animals, divide everything by 2. Just relax, keep things simple — have fun!
